Centre for Digital Dentistry Inaugurated at KMCT Dental College

Marking a significant step towards integrating advanced technology into dental care and education, KMCT Centre for Digital Dentistry was inaugurated at KMCT Dental College. The centre was officially inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. Mahesh Verma, Vice-Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Dr. Mahesh Verma lauded KMCT’s commitment to embracing technological advancements in dentistry. He highlighted that the newly established centre would revolutionize dental treatment by ensuring cost-effective, accurate, and precise services while providing students with exposure to cutting-edge innovations in digital dentistry. Dr. Navas K.M., Chairman of KMCT Group of Institutions, expressed how KMCT is committed to embracing technology-driven services and education in every sphere of its operations, ensuring excellence in healthcare, education, and research opportunities.

Established in 2006, KMCT Dental College has grown into one of India’s premier dental institutions, excelling in both education and patient care. The new centre will also serve as a training hub, offering certificate courses for students, alumni, and private practitioners, fostering skill development in advanced dental procedures.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. S. Anil Kumar, Controller of Examinations, Kerala University of Health Sciences, as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Rupesh P.L., President, IPS Kerala State Branch, delivered the felicitation address.

Dr. Manoj Kumar, Principal, KMCT Dental College, Dr. Sheejith M., Dr. Ranjith M., and Dr. Swapna C. addressed the gathering. 

Dr. Aysha Nazreen, Executive Trustee and Director, KMCT Group of Institutions, Dr. Betsy Thomas, Head of the Department, Periodontics, Mahsa University, Mr. Sahil Moidu, Assistant Director, KMCT Group of Institutions, and Mrs. Sujata Sarma, College Administrator, were also present. Delegates from MAHSA University participated as part of the student exchange program following the recent MoU signed between KMCT Dental College and the University. The event was attended by principals from various KMCT institutions, participants of DENTOVATE’25-digital dental conclave, faculty members, and students.
