KMCT Ayurveda Medical College Receives NAAC ‘A’ Grade Recognition, Certificate Presented by Honourable Minister A.K. Saseendran

In recognition of its consistent academic excellence, modern teaching methods, strong research culture, supportive learning environment, and well-developed infrastructure, KMCT Ayurveda Medical College has achieved a proud milestone by receiving ‘A’ grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). With this achievement, KMCT Ayurveda Medical College becomes the first and only Ayurveda medical college in Kerala to receive this honour.

The accreditation certificate was officially presented to the college by Shri A.K. Saseendran, Honourable Minister for Forests and Wildlife Protection, Kerala, during a ceremony held at the N.C. Auditorium, Pulparamba. The Director of Ayurveda Medical Education, Dr. T.D. Sreekumar, attended the function as the guest of honour, bringing further pride to the occasion.

As an Ayurveda medical college, KMCT ensures students receive every support and opportunity to build a strong academic and professional foundation. The institution integrates new learning innovations, encourages research from the undergraduate level, and offers well-structured practical training. The college also maintains excellence in arts, sports, community service, student-led initiatives, and hands-on clinical learning, ensuring all round development.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. K. Moidu, Founder Chairman of KMCT Group of Institutions, Dr. Navas K.M., Chairman, College Principal Dr. Shubhashree G.H., and college IQAC Coordinator Dr. Sarun Mohan, among others. During the event, appreciation certificates were awarded to faculty members who played a key role in earning the accreditation.

This achievement encourages the college to continue working towards even higher goals and to create more learning opportunities for students. KMCT Ayurveda Medical College will keep improving its teaching methods, research activities, and facilities. The NAAC ‘A’ grade also shows the college’s strong commitment to preserving traditional Ayurveda knowledge while using modern learning practices. This helps students grow into skilled professionals and supports the healthcare system and society in a meaningful way.
